If you are really interested in this life and life around you, you must have upto date knowledge about the people around you and that shall only be possible if you read newspapers, magazines and have a look on the T.V. If possible you may listen to radio too. You should read all the editorial notes and other writeups too. You shall be understanding the events more clearly and if you read other advertisements about jobs, admission and guidance, you shall be enlightened and this process shall help you in bettering your own career and future prospects. A very large number of people are busy in collecting all the information and displaying the same through these papers and they help us in understanding the people around us. This habit of reading newspapers shall also develop book reading habit in you and that shall make you a perfect man on this earth. We know that we have to complete our education and then we shall be trying to have admission in some training institutes and till we submit our application in time, we would not get a chance and these last dates are communicated to us through these papers and other items of mass communication. A man who does not read newspapers and other materials is totally ignorant and he is not in a position to participate in talks with his friends and others. If we want to have talks with others, we must be having knowledge upto date. And for that purpose we must be alive for all the events happening around us and newspapers and magazines help us.
